Descrizione
The Mooer Tender Octaver X2 stems from a long line of popular octavers and hands you the option to add both an upper octave and a sub octave to your clean bypass signal. The upper and sub octave can be tweaked in detail via the various pots, and toggled independently using the dedicated footswitches planted on the face of this striking pink stompbox.
The Tender Octaver X2: Tight, Fast and Accurate
Besides an individual volume control, both extra octaves are backed up by s.tone and u.tone controls for accurate fine-tuning. The DSP algorithm of the Tender Octaver X2 ensures every little tweak is instantly dialled in, while the 14 preset slots are there so you can save and call up your favourite settings as needed with the help of clear LED indicators.

Sonically this is excellent - very low latency and very transparent on clean or a distorted signal; good tweaking on eq and levels. Trouble is...hitting both footswtiches goes into preset mode; ok, but as far as I can work out, you can't then use a single footswitch to activate a preset on or off. The footswitches in preset mode step up or down. So you can't seem to instantly switch on both octaves with a single click. I use both octaves for the riff on "River Deep Mountain High". I can do this with a single fsw on an EHX Pich Fork pedal, but not with this Mooer. Therefore it doesn't work for me on stage. Mooer need to fix this issue - or tell me how to do a workaround!
